Scarafaggi, moquette bagnata e sporca, asciugamani macchiati, bicchieri sporchi che spuntano da sotto il letto, nessuno nella struttura per fare reclamo, incubo
Sporca e malodorante di mufa.
Mi hanno mandato le istruzioni per fare un late check in e tenuto la valigia per qualche ora fino lo'rario di partenza del volo. Per questo gentili, ma gli ho incontrato solo la mattina dopo l'arrivo e quando me ne sono andato.

Una guest house molto carina, lontana dala confusione del quartiere francese ma abbastanza vicina da poterlo raggiungere a piedi in pochi minuti. L'edificio è in classico stile southern, in un'atmosfera degna di un romanzo di John Grisham. Le stanze sono pulite e lo staff molto cordiale, a partire dalla simpatica proprietaria. La colazione è essenziale ma è servita in un adorabile giardino privato, sul quale si affacciano le poche stanze della struttura. L'arredamento risale probabilmente a una svendita del 1890. Non è un'esperienza di accommodation top, ma ottima per chi vuole vivere un po' di calore del Sud (risparmiando anche un po').

Hotel e' la parola sbagliata perché è' una casa riadattata a B&b ( come scrivono altri recensori la colazione e' davvero striminzita ma buona, cornetto e un po' di frutta fresca. Le camere e gli altri interni hanno arredamenti e tendaggi d' epoca. I bagni sarebbero da rifare. A parte questo però è' in una ottima posizione ( due strade dal quartiere francese) , il wifi funziona e c e' il parcheggio ( ma la macchina non vi servirà più'). Lo consiglio, anche per il buon prezzo

The staff here are outstanding! So helpful and attentive. The location is perfect. A few minutes walk to every place you would want to visit. I loved the quaint rooms. I had my daughter with me as well as my dog. We felt right at home. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms were cozy! The neighborhood was really special. I walked my dogs a few times a day and I was able to see architecture that was screaming New Orleans! Visit the Louis Armstrong Park that is only a block away. It was a very special vacation. I am so glad that we stayed here.

We had such a wonderful time staying at the New Orleans Guest House! The location was perfect-it felt safe and secure and I didn’t have to worry about anyone messing with my vehicle because it was behind a secured fence. We really enjoyed getting to know the staff-it felt very personable and what you would hope for in terms of New Orleans hospitality and culture. Our room had a cozy balcony and the housekeeping was consistent and easy to reach when needed. I also loved being so close to Treme Coffeehouse and Sprouts organic cafe-both had amazing coffee and pastries. We were within walking distance to the Louis Armstrong park and more than a few great bars. I would not hesitate to stay at The New Orleans guest house again and visit one of my favorite cities in the world-highly recommended. We’ll definitely be back!

Through my job, I have access to a database of hotels and other types of entertainment that would generally save me money. I found New Orleans guest house through this database. I screwed up my flight situation and had to stay in New Orleans an extra day. Since I was hanging out on Frenchman, this place seemed like a good option as the price point was low and they were close by ($54 per night and .5 miles from Frenchman). Check-in was quick and easy. They have a door code so you cannot enter unless you are a guest. It is essentially built like a large house or like a small apartment building. The room was clean, but the quality of the room wasn't the best. The bathroom had cracks in the walls. That normally wouldn't bother me. They get a low score because they have ROACHES!!! So be careful where/how you store your things. 5 star service though. The morning concierge lady, I didn't get her name, but she is light skinned, with single braids and a beautiful freckled face, was the best part. She sent me off with a warm hug and great recommendations to eat like the locals. For the price point, I would probably stay here again. For the comfort, I would probably choose somewhere else. Fix that bug situation.

Don’t stay here!! Major scam! We booked 15 months in advance thru Hotels.com. Called on the day of our arrival to be told Hotels.com canceled our room due to a declined card. Complete BS! They tried to blame hotels.com. The card was never declined. The reservation went thru and my card was charged. They then sent me to their sister hotel which was a disaster and gross. Spent $687 on a room that typically goes for $84 per night. The room was dusty, no towels and fridge was dirty. The ladies working there were sweethearts but that doesn’t make up for the fraud this business is running. Sad to say they took advantage of a lot of customers this “Swiftie” weekend. I will be spreading the word to everyone I can so this doesn’t happen to them. Shame on you. You’re giving New Orleans a bad name! I’m including photos of the “lock” on our bathroom door, the email The guest house sent me the day after thanking me for my stay at the location they claimed I canceled, and the hotels.com confirming the day of my reservation and booking total that they never canceled. Now The guest house is trying to offer me 50% off my next stay?! Slap in the face! I will be having my lawyer and the inspector of New Orleans deal with this. Obviously The guest house is a lying scam of a business that won’t work with their guest.
