Me and my boyfriend arrived on a Friday evening. Office was already closed but there was an envelope with my name waiting for us. When we arrived to our tent site we were immediately thrown off, as we were expecting a water hookup and and a picnic, per online advertisement. There is actually only 1 tent sight with a picnic table, and none with water hookups. The water hookups aren’t where they say they will be on the map, they’re actually across the way on the RV sites. There were also two very large dogs roaming the property while we camped. They seem like they’re probably owned by someone who lives on a completely different property, but with the barking and them coming so close, it did get a bit nerve wracking. The bathrooms were nice, warm, and clean. And the campgrounds overall were clean and well taken care of. We wanted to love this place, as it’s only an hour away from where we live. We’re just a bit frustrated with the false advertising.

We had a pull thru site with full hook-ups, which was good besides you had very limited space between sites. We had like 6 feet of grass between sites. So I could smell the sewer when I cooked using my outdoor kitchen. Close to some nice attractions!

Arrived a little after 4pm. No one was in the office, but an envelope with our name had a map and our site number. We had site#4, a pull thru, which we had requested. The site may have been level for a shorter RV, but it was challenging for us at 36ft. By the time we set up, the office was locked up.The water connection/turn off was leaky. The office/store doesn't open until 10am per a sign on the door, although the brochure says 8am, so if you need something before you leave, don't plan on leaving early.
On the plus side, the rate was good, easy on and off from I-44, far enough to not hear traffic noise. Showers were clean. There are several cabins on the property. There is a small playground for children. Pool was closed for the season.

This is a campground. All of the camper spaces are quite small, but the sites with only partial hook up (water/electric) are so small that there are no picnic tables or fire rings. You are literally 5-8 feet from the next camper. Fortunately, we didn't spend alot of time at the site, only overnight for sleeping, but there wasn't even space to set up chairs outside our camper door.

This is the 3rd kiefer campground we have stayed at. All of their campgrounds are amazing with so many amenities, and so clean! The staff is incredibly friendly. This campground is the perfect location if you’re wanting to do all things Meramec. When you’re not exploring caves there’s a huge pool and kids game room to keep everyone entertained. They also have the cutest, air conditioned, cabins you can rent. And last but not least, you MUST try their “Famous Fatso’s Pizza”! The best pizza we have ever had. Get the sweet and zesty one! 🙂 We brought so much food but the kids demanded eating their pizza every night. We will be back, Kiefers!

The location is very convenient off the interstate. The sites are a little close to each other, but the hook ups are nice and easy. The pool was very clean and we enjoyed a swim during our stay. The staff was very friendly and very helpful! Would for sure stay here again

Nicely laid out RV Park big rig friendly. The park was clean, quiet and everyone was very friendly. I would stay her again.

Great family campground with fantastic customer service. We were welcomed and offered cookies and popcorn. Then the lady guided us to our RV spot.
