This is an awesome park! They just redid all of the sites it is really amazing. They all have cement at each site now. There are many bathrooms scattered around and not just one. I love the setting and I love all the trails they have for you to walk around. There are some that are open and exposed or you can go deep in the woods and enjoy a more secluded walk.
I am grateful to be here close by so I can enjoy it more often.
Bravo to MO state parks for their excellent job in restoring this beautiful park.

Great Corp of Engineer campground! We paid $13 per night for Full hookups with America the Beautiful Pass. The whole campground was redone in 2019 all sites have full hookups now. Tons of paved bike trails, very quiet. Level sites paved with concrete pads and metal picnic tables. DG store and fuel within 3 miles. Nice view from bike trails of St Francis River. Boat launch nearby, lots of parking.

Amazing beautiful campground with large well maintained leveled sites. Roads and site was asphalt with large concrete pad complete with picnic table, fire ring, and lantern post. Full hook-ups and sites were spaced appropriately with multiple bathrooms and dumpsters located throughout the park. The park host was visible throughout our stay. Bathrooms were clean and maintained. Asphalt bike/walking trail surrounded the park was easy to use and well maintained. Visible deer and other wildlife daily. This park is a definite must see as we will put it on our for sure return list.

We are frequent visitors to COE parks. This one is a cut above most. Several years ago the area was redone - must have been designed by an RV'er. Concrete pads for all the sites. Excellent water pressure along with full power and sewer. And LOTS of green areas. The original section - where the town once was, has very large and spacious sites. Probably largest we have ever seen. Numerous hiking and biking trails - paved.

Very nice! It's right off 67 so it's a perfect stopping point if you're traveling. The kids loved the playground and the sand volleyball courts. There are new basketball hoops too. The bathrooms were open even though we were the only ones there and it was dinner time (like 6:30 pm). There is a covered picnic pavilion with water (no electrical outlets that we saw) and a bike trail and a hiking trail of old Greenville, although we didn't have time to do those. They had lots of interperative signs explaining the area and lots of parking (with a turn around for our trailer). It was a happy find! Especially when there was no rest area around for many miles.
