What a wonderful experience! The park was clean, the staff was great, the little boat launch we played at was perfect. Thank you SO much to the wonderful young lady (sorry I didn't catch her name) who checked us in! She was incredibly helpful getting us the best spot! Even though two of the camping loops were shut down for repaving, we had an incredible night here! The camp host was very friendly, the playground was well maintained, and the bathrooms were clean! We will definitely be back!

Beautiful park! Fischer cave is excellent and worth the tour. The river is a great relaxing float, our party did both kayaks and a canoe. The swimming area is pretty private and nice especially in the evening. Lots of deer through out the park. Very well kept. We had two different full hook up spots and both were very level and easy to back into.

This is a beautiful state as are many of Missouri State Parks. My son and I went here and had a nice peaceful time. Didn't get to explore any of the trails but we did find a hidden gem of a cave and it was amazing. You can also hang out at a beach on the meramec river which my son had a blast.

Amazing place for trout fishing, a family outing, photo session, lots of picnic tables and grills. Enjoyed the museum showing history of Meramec and James family that created a thriving iron industry. One of my favorites and for sure best trout park in MO.

We hiked the Natural Wonders Trail. Nice hiking trail in the woods. Lots of shade and some scenery including a few interesting rock formations. It wasn't too crowded along the trail when we were there over Labor Day weekend.

The noise of the river and the beautiful scenery was so relaxing. I was amazed at the lack of litter you seem to see everywhere these days.
This park is so well maintained!

Very pretty park. Really easy to navigate. Lots of shelters that can be rented. We stayed in the motel and enjoyed it, but the campgrounds looked really crowded. Didn't seem to be much separation from one site to the next. My husband and I floated via the park, and we enjoyed our time. The workers for the float seemed very young, and weren't the most helpful. There's 2 shops in the park and one has a "grill". There's also a cave in this park down by the campgrounds that can be toured.

Beautiful place however we camped and we were woken very early by lawnmowers right next to our tent! I want to say it wasnt even 730 am...... also the restroom. I do not recommend using the individual one there is so much nastiness and bugs flying out of the pot it was disgusting. The bigger restrooms with showers were not bad at all though
