We just made a quick stop. Very short paved loop longer trail into the woods bathroom and parking. Nice wildflowers and beautiful trees. Nice benches under a roof. Nice little stop in the road with information signs.

My boyfriend and I went to hike here. It's a nice park with a shaded gazebo and onsite restroom. Beech Tree Trail has lots of nature and some interesting things to see along the way. It also has benches in a few areas along the way if you need to sit and rest. The trail is 2.25 miles long and it took us a good 2 hours, give or take some, to finish the trail, granted we had three dogs with us. Some areas are somewhat washed out due to excessive rain. The trail can be rough at times and be prepared for many inclined areas. This hiking trail is definitely not for beginners. We definitely recommend wearing comfortable clothing and shoes and definitely bring something to drink. Other than that, it's a nice place to visit and is located directly across the highway from Bader Peaches in Campbell, MO.

At first I was really excited, has a really nice sitting area to rest, visit or take pictures at the trailhead. Got on the trail and my excited level went way down. Mainly just a flat and curved walk in some mud. Then to our surprise the trail turned into a pretty great one. Beautiful hike to the ridge and a great view. While it's not as spectacular as looking over a cliff onto a lake or river it was still well worth it.
The only downside to the trail is it really needs better markings with a big part of it being covered and blending with the surroundings.
Spent roughly 2 hours taking our time and sight seeing.
A bonus worth mentioning is they have a fresh peach store just across the highway from the entrance!

Not much there, besides a short trail, but it's a nice one, for the area. Surprised it's a state park and not a conservation area, so no need to drive out of your way for it

Visited this on multiple occasions and if you are out joy riding in the area, definitely worth the stop for a beautiful short hike, lots of trees! Benches along the trail and a restroom to use.

We drive all of the way from Huntsville, AL to Morris State Park in Poplar Bluff, MO for the Total Solar Eclipse, and it was amazing. The state park was beautiful, and set into a peach orchard. Would definitely go there again if we had the chance.

Thought this would be a nice little outing for my little family. Not at all unfortunately. This is not where you want to take ur teenage kids or younger kids. This has become a place where couples go to hook up and have intercourse. My teenage son and I walked upon a couple who could have cared less that we could see them. Very disappointing.

Great place to begin a hiking journey. It was easy and short enough to get through but tough enough to know what you could possibly be getting into on harder and longer trails. Plenty of rest areas on the way. Easy to navigate for the most part. Has a map of the trail at the entrance. We thought the exit was in a field but it wasn’t we just missed the markers and had to turn around. It was easy enough for my child to come along. She kept up and completed the trail unassisted. Over all a great beginner place to go and look forward to finding others.
