Super clean campground. One of the best we’ve stayed in. They are definitely a no- nonsense type of operation. The staff is courteous and helpful. The sites are spacious and easy to get into. I only wish they had a 50AMP site for our 5th wheel trailer. Oak trees everywhere and so close to the town of Julian.

We really like this campground.
We've been camping here for years.
Campsites in among the trees.
Water and power hookups some 50amp. Dump station.
Wi-Fi only near the office at front of Park but pretty good Verizon signal for hotspot use.

This is a great little campground with tons of charm. The staff is incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable about the area. Lots of trails for the hiking, great fishing at Lake Cuyamaca and the restaurant at the lake is great. It’s only a few miles to Julian with it charm including shopping, art, wineries, beer gardens, old mining tours etc…..
They only have 50amp and electric at the sites but have dump stations so it’s no big deal. We have a 37ft Monaco and we fit comfortably with a tow. There is a flat space in the park where you can disconnect. Enjoy your stay here we did!

The parks in this area are all pretty rustic, but this is a pretty nice place. Super friendly check in. We had a beautiful little spot all by ourselves. We never did find the bathroom that was shown on the map near us...but there is one by the exit that we drove to on our way out. Good location for beautiful hikes and drive to Mt Laguna.

Stayed 3 nights at this RV Park in March 2024. The staff were friendly, the park is clean and it is in a very pretty location. It had a mix of long term residents and short term spaces and I would say it is reasonably priced as well. The only negative thing I would say is that the short term section I was in was basically empty with relatively few campers. When I made the reservation I asked to be away from other campers if possible and it was that way when I checked in. But within hours there was another RV right next to ours - why they put someone in the space next to us when that whole section was basically empty is beyond my understanding. And of course the RV that parked next to us ran their heater every 15 minutes and it was loud as a freight train which definitely had a negative impact on our stay. Yes, I could have moved spaces but it was snowing that day and the office told me the RV next to us would be leaving the next day. So stayed put - of course it turned out the RV next to us was still there when we checked out. That spoiled what would have been an almost perfect stay.

This is a beautiful place to camp, it's huge and has tons of walking. Super close to Julian and mountain trails. The road is extremely loud at night till about 11 and then starts back up at 4am. This campground isn't getting a 5 star because I called about a noise disturbance, no one to call except "Tom". He spoke to me in an extremely rude way, told me "this phone number is for emergencies only", incredibly short with me and didn't seem to care one bit about his residents. If you don't have to deal with him, your stay should be lovely.

This is our first time in this RV park in Julian. It was recommended by a friend. I called to make a reservation and the person who I talked to was friendly and answered my question. I requested for a secluded spot and the one we were assigned was spacious for our RV Trailer & vehicle. The site was partial hookup and the RV park has 2 dump areas. The building in front of the reception area has a clean bathroom with showers. We had our son’s dog with us and it was a dog friendly park. There was a dug out fire pit and it was nice to finally have a campfire. Overall, we enjoyed our stay with the exception of the wasps during our meals outside. They seem to like meat.
