All Seasons Downtown Retreat - Fredericksburg, Texas

We rented out all 6 rooms for a girl trip. It was wonderful! We had the whole place to ourselves! The bed & bed sheets were super smooth and soft. The rooms were spacious (except room 3) with king size beds, sofas, & kitchens with all the necessities including fridges & microwaves. The pool was fab-we couldn't figure out how to work the hot tub. But other than that-No problems!

We stayed for only one night but were blown away by the room. Firstly, it actually looks like the management photos on the website and the rooms is fully equipped with everything you could need in your kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. The furniture seems of high quality and the bed is super comfy. ||We were blown away by the freshly baked cake in our room upon arrival, even though we did not book any additional packages for our stay. Overall a great experience, the only thing was that the pool and the hot tub were both quite cold so we actually did not end up using them.

Cute little cottages and a great location. BUT you'd be better off sleeping on the floor because the bed was really uncomfortable. Parking is an issue and people just kind of parked wherever they wanted, so close I had to pull out so my wife could get in. Water pressure in the shower was a joke and you could barely get the soap out of your hair. Not sure what was wrong with the pool but it looked gross. Way too many other, better places to stay in or around Fredericksburg. We won't be back to this one.

My wife and decided to get out of San Antonio for the weekend. We picked the cottage at circle J and couldn't have been happier!! Great stay for a couples vet away or for 2 couples. It was the most expensive on their list but worth every penny! Awesome little cottage on the back of private land. A short 10 min drive from down town fredericksburg. Extremely clean and very comfortable beds. 2 king size and a pullout sofa. Small kitchen but has everything you need. Awesome covered patio with room to sit and eat. Private pool, hot tub and fire pit. If you want to trap yourself away from everything for a weekend i would pick this place.

My wife and I stayed at the All Seasons Downtown Retreat for a 3 day weekend. We have stayed in other B&B's in town before and were not very impressed. Not so with this place. The room was clean and updated. We loved the amenities. It was walking distance to Main St. but still far enough away for peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the Marktplatz (marketplace square).

The bed was very comfortable and the pool and hot tub outside were nice and secluded by tall shrubbery and trees. Beautiful globe twinkling lights were hung in the towering trees surrounding the property! This is the perfect place for a romantic getaway for 2.

These bed and breakfast cottages are quaint and quiet Super clean, and don't be mislead by the country cottage feel and appearance, they have spared no expensive in providing you with the most luxurious insides, soft plush bed sheets, marble counter tops etc. Overall, these are wonderful places to stay providing you with alot of charm, comfort and still close to everything you need & all the downtown shops. I've read all the other reviews and most are in agreement with the great service and overall satisfaction of staying at these places. If I come back, I will definitely choose All Seasons. Again, it depends what you are looking for. All Seasons has gone out of there way to try and provide you with the most down to earth, charming, yet efficient bed & breakfast cottage, PLUS they top that off with providing you the 20th century needs, i-pad and super amazing WIFI access. We had WIFI access from our hotel in San Antonio but it was so slow half the stuff we wanted to do just too slow to go through. We caught up once we hit All Seasons in Fredericksburg. It was like WOW! Super fast WIFI service. The place was amazing clean, simple design and yet offering the luxuries you look for. For example, the bed was super comfy and plush. Top of the line coffee maker, and of course, what would it be without a hot tub on the porch!! and a couple of rockers to boot. The only thing that I can mention is, you are probably wise to use the hot tub before it gets dark and only the porch light is on, because it does attrack amazing Texan insects. My friend and I didn't mind but we noticed the lady neighbor struggling a bit with the odd june bug buzzing by. What do you expect, you are out in country at a quaint little cottage village. You're not going to escape from all of nature. Besides, nature is beautiful. It's all in how you see it. Anyways, my friend and I talked about bringing our whole over 45 ladies team up here for fun, relaxation and going on a bunch of wine tours. Plus all the little shops of shopping. Perfect.

We stayed in the Tank House on our honeymoon and it was just perfect. We could easily walk to any shop or restaurant on main street and the property, while so close to everything, was still quiet and felt secluded. The accommodations were great; very clean and well decorated. It was nice to have a simple continental breakfast provided in the room (milk, OJ, cereal and a fresh baked apple coffee cake) rather than just pre-packaged muffins and pastries like I've had at other places.||||Highly recommend this place if you want to splurge a little and have a romantic getaway in the hill country.

This is the second time we have stayed at All Seasons Downtown Retreat. The room is very clean, bedding is plush, coffee cake is delicious. They leave coffee, cream, juice, and waters for your enjoyment. When we stayed before (under different management) they had fresh fruit and chocolates in the room - I was disappointed that new management didn't include these in the stay - the attention to every detail is why we love to stay here.
