I had a fabulous time at this villa. It was just as picturesque as it looks in the pictures, and the house managers were always accessible if I had any questions or requests.

Heads up to anyone visiting the Tuscan countryside: if you have seasonal allergies, make sure to bring extra medication. I did not and ended up having to visit a local pharmacy. Since you're surrounded by a lot of greenery in this area, you may be introduced to be pollen you're not used to.

This is a stunning house and property that was perfect for our 3-generation family of 10 (ages 1 to 75). Upstairs, the 5 bedrooms (with ensuite baths) are spacious, comfortable and quiet. Downstairs, we enjoyed the large living room and dining room, and the kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed to enjoy meals at home. The wisteria-covered pergola outside the kitchen was the site of happy and delicious dinners we cooked ourselves from the great local produce, meat and seafood.

The real stunner here is the property -- the view from the house across the lawn, down to the pool and across the vineyards beyond. The owners' appreciation for gardening is obvious, and we enjoyed the many roses and other flowers in bloom, as well as the intoxicating scent of jasmine. There is a lovely patio with comfortable seating under the trees, where there seemed to always be a welcome breeze during our mid-June stay.

The bedrooms are air-conditioned, but also have screens, and we loved sleeping with the windows open so we could be wakened by the dawn chorus of birds.

We took day trips from the house to several areas nearby and enjoyed a winery tour that the hostess, Alice, set up for us. Nearby, there are grocery stores, bakeries and wonderful local, small shops that sell cheeses, meats and homemade pasta.

We all agree: we cannot recommend this property enough! A dream of a family vacation!

We very much enjoyed our stay in Villa Le Querce Dei Medici. We were up to 6 people who spent 10 great days - the location was very authentic, the house had plenty of space. The garden and particularly the pool area with the stunning view was out of this world. Definitely a place to recharge batteries and let the mind flow. We will certainly come back. Also thanks to Alice for the great support and advices during our stay.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The entire property is stunning, even more beautiful than the pictures. We were lucky to enjoy all of the beautiful roses and peonies in bloom; walking by them everyday was a real treat. The rooms were all very comfortable, had everything we needed, and were very clean. We would love to come back should we ever find ourselves in Italy again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Villa Le Querce Dei Medici. Our host Alice was fantastic, really helpful and knowledgeable. She went the extra mile to ensure we had the perfect stay. The villa itself is beautiful, clean and fully equipped with everything you need for your stay. Great for children too! We loved the pool and pool house as well as the outdoor dining area and BBQ. We look forward to staying again!

We have recently returned from a fantastic couple of weeks at Villa Le Querce. What a beautiful setting, with particularly wonderful views from the pool. The rooms were all extremely comfortable, and the living areas were spacious and cool, not that we spent much time inside! Most of the day was spent by the pool, which had the added benefit of a pool house, so there was no need to return to the main house for more refreshments.

Francesca and her team were extremely helpful during our stay in recommending restaurants and places to visit, as well as providing babysitters when required. Nothing was too much to ask.

We had an amazing holiday at Villa Le Querce. During our 2.5 weeks we had various people coming and going and the house was large enough for up to 14 of us. We enjoyed relaxed days by the stunning pool, easy trips to Florence from the station 5 mins away, the lakeside beach club, walks in the hills along the via degli dei route, and indulgent al fresco meals. We had Monia cook for us a few times which was wonderful and Alice was so helpful looking after us and recommending some great restaurants nearby. We plan to come back!
