We sent our son to camp Cho Yeh this year for the first time, I was really worried about how it will go because he didn't know anyone there and worried about how he would do without having me right by him for a whole week. Since the minute we were in the line let me make this it very clear that the staff is INCREDIBLY ORGANIZED, like chick fill a organized. The cabin was very clean and the counselors were young man that were super sweet but still very responsible. I felt very comfortable leaving him with them. They do a very great job at taking pictures so you can see your kiddo every day and kind of see what they did that day. (I would like to give a shout out to the photographer because they did an outstanding job at providing us parents with pictures). The cabins were very clean and they have good AC. We were nervous because our son didn't know anyone but he made friends very quickly and said everyone was very friendly. It's been two days since we picked him up and he is still talking about how this has been the greatest experience he has ever had in his life. He said the food there was absolutely amazing. He said the activities they did at the lake were so much fun and that the counselors were always right by them making sure they didn't need anything and that they felt OK. He made alot of new friends and he said he can't wait to go next summer. I'm very grateful to all the staff members, the nurse did a fantastic job making sure my son took his medication as requested, the front desk answered all my questions when I call, the counselors were incredibly nice to my son and I couldn't have asked for anything to be done differently. And the cookies they give you after you drop them off! I NEED the recipe to those cookies !!!! Thank you Camp Cho Yeh for giving my boy this life experience ? ❤️

Very lovely place! We were there for a girl scout camping trip and everyone enjoyed it. The lake is perfect and there were plenty of fun things for the girls to do. Food was pretty good too and even the vegetarian and gluten free kids had options. Kamrin, our camp guide was very sweet!

We attended for Takeover Weekend with our church youth, and it was an amazing time!!!

Facilities were clean and cared for, staff was incredibly kind (and fun!), and the activities available were AWESOME! Zip lining, archery tag, basketball, the blob, a HUGE treehouse with a slide, ropes course - and that's not even everything.

What a great weekend. Thank you, Cho-Yeh staff!!

Camp Cho-Yeh is the most affordable and economical within 1.5 hours drive of Houston. The only drawback for this camp was for us not to get our own food. We must have to purchase the food from them. I am sure if they give the option for not to buy the food from them this will be the best and most economical camp in Texas for amount they charge per person.

The staff was extremely friendly and go by the biblical values.

All the area were well maintained and cleaned including the bathrooms and bedrooms.

Common recreational area is fun and add value to the experience without being charge extra.

The most popular activity was the zip-line.

Conference room for the group activities were amazing ❤️

We visited during a recent open house. We were pleasantly surprised by how large, yet organized the grounds were. Each age range and gender has its own area with dorms, meeting hall, community areas, and activities. The facilities we visited were very well maintained and clean. The staff were knowledgeable, warm, and inviting. They were open to answering all of our questions, as well. If they run the camps like they run their open house invitations, then the camp is a well oiled machine. We were impressed!
