Ho prenotato il Brand New Apartment che fa parte della villa Calcinaia per la mia famiglia 7 mesi in anticipo dopo aver preso informazioni su siti web di viaggiatori. Gia' dalla prima corrispondenza con Dott.ssa Paola Cei Cinelli si e' dimostrata molto gentile e disponibile. La villa e' decorata straordinariamente, attrezzata completamente, il panorama visto fuori e' stupendo e la permanenza nella villa e' stata talmente piacevole che abbiamo preferito rimanere che uscire. Cio' che ci ha colpito di piu' e' stato la comunicazione, l'accoglienza, la disponibilita', il buon humore e la guida di Paola. Grazie alla sua simpatia, crea un'atmosfera piacevole come se fosse alla propria casa privata dell'ospite. Senza dubbio, e' un'alloggio da ritornare. Grazie di cuore!

We were graciously hosted by Paola and Fabrizio at Villa Calcinaia during our stay in Italy. This has been a second home for my boyfriend for many years when he visits the Florence/Tuscany area annually. It was my first trip and he insisted on giving me a true, authentic and utterly romantic Tuscan experience at Villa Calcinaia! As our car climbed the hill from Lastra a Signa, my heart swelled, taking in the landscape and the stone wall lined road; rolling hills of olive groves, vineyards, cypress trees, mimosa and magical umbrella pines. It was the scene you picture when you set your heart on seeing and experiencing Tuscany! The terrain naturally draws you in, with filtered light and color, but as the gate opens to Villa Calcinaia, you are officially welcomed to Tuscany! A cypress lined driveway leads you to their beautiful homestead, where you are tucked in to an olive grove. This is where your journey officially begins; with a beautiful place to call home while you explore this magical region called Tuscany. Paola made her home, Villa I Cipressi (a converted barn on her family’s property), our home for a week. Her heart was with us everywhere we went, with recommendations, tips and best wishes that went beyond any type of “hosting” an Airbnb would typically provide. It was a perfect blend of privacy, personalized guidance and genuine interest in giving us a memorable experience! Paola loves her home and her Tuscan roots and goes out of her way to bring that love to every guest she welcomes! ||It’s perfectly located; “moments away” from the village of Lastra a Signa, 15 minutes from the center of Florence and minutes from the train and Autostrada/Superstrada; making visits to neighboring Tuscan cities and towns easily accessible (Pienza, Montepulciano, Sienna, Lucca). ||Whether it’s your first time in Tuscany or you’ve been called back (and you will be), Villa Calcinaia is the place to call home while you explore this magical region; rich in history, architecture, people, food, wine that will create memories and friendships to last a lifetime.

Paola and Fabrizio are fantastic hosts in an absolutely stunning villa in the beautiful hills of||Tuscany. I’ve been here with family in the past during the summer and also a romantic getaway with my fiancé in the fall. Both times of year are perfect in their own way. They have a pool in their backyard amongst the cypress trees, and a large open landscape you can have the best evening walks through. They are so close to the city of Florence and all of the beautiful surrounding Tuscan glories you can easily drive to and explore. And even when you want to just relax for a day, their villa is so peaceful and comfortable, you feel right at home. Paola is so friendly, and keeps the villa and guest house very clean and comfortable for her guests. Thank you so much Paola and Fabrizio!

A group of 8 of us stayed at Paola's home for a week in June. I cannot begin to tell you how lovely this place was! The villa and estate is absolutely gorgeous and perfectly accommodated our group. We each (4 couples) had our own room and bathroom and shared a main area equipped with kitchen and living room. My favorite part of this villa is the beautiful outdoor space where we spent many days by the pool. Paola, the villa owner, is wonderful. She was such an excellent host, and went above and beyond to help accommodate our group. She provided the best suggestions for what to do and see while in Florence, and would even provide us with transportation to and from train stations and the local grocery store. She is such a wonderful person that made our trip so enjoyable. We absolutely would recommend this villa to others!

We brought a group to Italy staying part of the time with Paola. She is incredibly gracious and kind. The Villa is beautiful and all had a wonderful time! I cannot say enough and would encourage anyone to stay there! It was a highlight of our trip and all look forward to returning! Buongiorno. I think that says it all for this beautiful place. My husband and I had been traveling the US for many years.||||Our dream was to do the same in Europe. So with airbnb today, it’s easy to get a fairly nice place. We traveled Portugal, Spain and then we came to Italy. Our first stop was Florence because we had to. You know all roads lead from Florence - Bella Toscana. Not one place can compare with the beauty and feeling of welcome that we have experienced here and especially the Florence Home Rentals villas.||||We want for nothing and our hostess and friend Paola makes sure of that. ||||We have a hard time leaving this beautiful and serene 5 acres of olives and vineyards. The villa where we are staying is equipped with everything you would have in your home and more. Did I mention the infinity pool to cool off with. Of course, If you like excellent wine, the best olive oil and a friendly bon jgiorno, it’s all over here.||||It’s really a home “under the Tucson Sun”.||||Please don’t shortcut your stay here. There is so much to do and see and you are in the center of it all, while still having the peace and beauty of the Tuscan countryside.||||Sandra J.

We stayed in Villa in spring 2017 for a extended weekend. Very good, silent location, nice owners and the best olive I have ever get. We came by plane to Bologne and then took the rented car. Villa in Lastra la Singa is great place to start one day trips to Florence, Siena and another sights in Tuscany. We also used train (5 min from villa to train station) to visit Florence, Piza and even Roma (2 hours with fast train). We recommend to visit local restaurant La Musica (dont judge it by the first impression)!
