My Husband and I enjoyed our stay at Gulf Coast Camping Resort! The staff is extremely hard working, beyond helpful and made us feel at home! Very quiet property and respectful neighbors!

I highly recommend looking elsewhere. They charge 5 star prices for barely a 1 star park. More of a parking spot.
ZERO amenities... Pool has been closed since hurricane Ian (2 years), club house is falling apart and surrounded by caution tape, only half a horseshoe pit (1 side) completely unmaintained, shuffleboard court hasn't been painted or taken care of in YEARS, swing set in the playground is ready to fall apart, not to mention the overabundance of fireants in the KIDS park, pond has been sprayed for weeds so aggressively almost ALL fish are dead, only turtles left.
The park is severely understaffed and underfunded by a slumlord who relied on government money for trailers after the storm (Ian).
There are SO many beautiful parks with availability at reasonable prices in the SW Florida area, and they are abundant in amenities and activities. If you plan to stay for a very short time, less than 2 weeks, it will be fine, the neighbors are very friendly for the most part, but I truly think you will regret it if you stay long term.
This is my experience after 2 months of staying there, take it or leave it, there is SO much better. Best of luck to all.

Probably the worst ever resort you could possibly imagine. No working amenities, roads are almost impassable with potholes and trash. Front desk is unavailable and rude when they are. Family run and I found drugs when using the washing facilities.
This place is a disgrace. Spare yourself a stay at this dump. Angela the front desk person is rude and unpleasant. I would strongly not recommend that you stay at this horrible place.

I stayed here from Dec to March and I really enjoyed this campground. It's quiet, neighbors are friendly, and the owners are wonderfully nice people. They are working hard each day to improve the campgrounds and get it to a premium standard. Worth the money to stay in the area, close to everything you need. If I am back in the area and need a campground I will definitely be booking to stay here again.

The managers are working diligently to make improvements since the new owners took over the park. They work non-stop every day maintaining the premises and keeping the entire park looking great. They continually monitor the park and are very professional and courteous, always asking if there's anything they can do to make our stay better.
A new laundry was just installed and all the roads were just recently resurfaced making a huge difference.
Almost every negative review is from temporary residents displaced by hurricane Ian living free in Unite Florida travel trailers, as I am also.
They have been evicted for not following the rules of the park and had been given numerous warnings.
The managers main concern is keeping the park safe, comfortable and drug free. Children who were disruptive now must be supervised at all times by a parent which has been a blessing.
Many of us have been displaced here from Ft Myers Beach and I can honestly say that Angela, Vito and their son have made the park very safe and comfortable for each one of us. We're truly thankful to them
