While the staff is nice, the property itself needs a lot of repairs. It is falling apart. The walkways are breaking and cracked, and the pool was dirty, and the jacuzzi was not working. The sheets smell dusty. The floor was dirty. We had a party of 8 , 3 adults and 5 children and we rented a 3 bedroom villa with kitchen. They do provide 2 small bottles of water per room and 3 towels per bathroom, and we had 2 bathrooms. I asked for extra towels since we were 8 people. It is a private beach. No towels are provided for the beach or the pool, and they do not give you extra towels. I had to speak to the manager and explain that we were 8 people staying for 3 days and that 6 towels were not enough. The pool is dangerous for children. The tiles are broken, and they are scummy and dirty and very slippery. The beach is amazing. It is private, and only the hotel guests can get in . It's beautiful and relaxing and they have a bar and restaurant. The bar charged $25 for a pool lounge chair for the beach and $150 for a pool bed. But you get the fee taken off if you order that amount in drinks. Which is nice. The first night we were there the hotel lost all electricity but our villa still had light thank goodness. All of the guests staying in the regular rooms left to new hotels. They brought in a generator for the bar and party area. The office and reception and spa had no power for the entire weekend, so we were not able to try out the spa. During check out we turned in all the tv controls and air-conditioning controls but they wanted a receipt they had given us at check in to return the $50 deposit since the computer was not working again we had to speak to the manager. I will say the air-conditioning worked beautifully brand new units. The security staff was very nice and attentive, and I felt very safe at this property. I love the location. I feel that if they gave it a major update, it would be an amazing place to stay, but as it is, I can not recommend it.

I really wanted to like this place but had a pretty terrible experience and was charged for a much more expensive room than the mold-filled room that I actually stayed in. The location is great but the Friday night party and loud music until after 2am kept me from sleeping which was very frustrating. I loved that it was dog friendly but would be hesitant to ever stay again after nobody would respond to my overcharged stay. If somebody would have just responded to my calls, emails or WhatsApp messages over 2 weeks, I would have maybe considered going back but being overcharged with no refund was infuriating. I am now fighting the charge with my credit card company. If you like to sleep before 2am, make sure there is not a wedding if you decide to book here!

Man I've been going for a few years now and it's always been a beautiful location yet the restaurant and bar situation left me wanting. This June I went and WHAT a difference. The chef has some great food flying out and the service was another level. The bartender Chris was super helpful for everything Rosarito. He was always smiling and mad ene feel like I should not move from that bar! They are building a pool on the water which I am super excited for. Definitely heading back soon. Oh and I caught loads of fish in the beach. Kids that fish are gonna be happy.

Absolutely Horrible Experience - Do Not Stay Here!**

We do not recommend this hotel at all! We reserved several rooms for a cousins' reunion, and it turned out to be the worst experience ever. We came to gather and enjoy each other's company, but there was absolutely no place to do so. The hotel staff kept telling us "not here, not there, not anywhere!" We were either stuck in our rooms or forced to gather by the beach near the restaurant, where we had to pay $30 per person just to be there, even as guests! Alternatively, we were expected to buy their overpriced food and drinks all day long just to sit there.

The pool area was a joke—there were only two chairs, and the pool itself looked like it was designed for kids. The entire hotel is old, rundown, and falling apart. The rooms were in terrible condition, and the suite, which we paid $250 for, was definitely not worth even half that amount. It was anything but a suite.

The worst part? Our power went out at 2 PM the day before we left and stayed out until we checked out! Yes, we were in the dark the whole time. There was no power outage anywhere else in town, so we suspect they didn’t pay their bill. They didn't even offer us a flashlight or a candle! We couldn’t shower, get ready, or even charge our phones nor AC. And when we asked for compensation, we were given absolutely nothing.

Save yourself the frustration and avoid this place at all costs!

Worse experience ever!!! Couple of years ago I used to go every other weekend and what a surprise finding this hotel so bad.

Looks like abandoned, in one coach suite had fleas (301) dust everywhere, spiderwebs, but the worse was the construction the building was coming apart, very dangerous!!!

I’m surprised that still open on those conditions, I’m sure the owner doesn’t care about it and if he doesn’t obviously the Manager won’t do anything to have this place as used to… it’s a great location with a magnificent view but horrible installation.

Too bad that I didn’t see Al comments before that didn’t have my money back even when i didn’t stayed there

We stayed in the Suite Beach House Villa 16 that was supposed to accommodate 6 people for two nights for $800. ||||For complaints you can contact the supervisor Maricela S- @ [email protected]. We weren’t able to contact her since she wouldn’t be in before we had to check out at 10am, but hopefully you can if you do decide to stay here (and ignore all the bad reviews like we did). The staff was rude and not helpful at all- the staff that was not accommodating was named Merary. ||||When we got there, there was a customer that was complaining about him booking various bedrooms a year in advance and was having trouble booking additional bedrooms for his event due to “Baja beach fest” taking priority. That was the first sign of trouble. ||||When you check in, they make you give a refundable deposit of $50 for two remotes for their AC units (only located in each bedroom) and the control for the TV in the living room which does not work. When we went to the room, the bathroom door was locked and we were unable to open it in which the front desk had to have maintence come to fix it which took forever. ||||There are two bedrooms in this Villa (one double bed in each) and a living room area that is supposed to accommodate two people sleeping on a couch- which is NOT a pull out couch. The actual couch is made out of concrete with a thin padding to sleep on. Good luck getting sleep if you’re sleeping in the living room because if you have the fan on (because it gets super hot) you will hear a squeezing fan allllll night. ||||As for the actual property, it’s supposed to have access to the private beach— however, they are building a new villa below which obstructed our views and quite honestly an eye soar. Due to this construction, we had to walk allll around the property to get access to the private beach. ||||The pool was located in the parking lot, and was tiny! Those photos they have uploaded on their website, the pool looks clean and bigger than what it actually is. ||||You can’t have people in your bedroom past 10pm, even though they are staying with you in the property! They give you a set of “rules” to read over of what’s allowed and what isn’t allowed. ||||The TV in the living room was not working, there was mildew and mold on the refrigerator, in the bathtub located in the master bedroom, no lighting at night in the bathrooms, which I almost slipped and fell due to the “natural lighting they have”— which is more than likely to save money. ||||The jacuzzi was not in working condition and they stated that the jets were not working but we could use the hose to fill it up- which would take two hours to do so. ||||The mosaic glass door it literally being held together with tape in the master bedroom, there were no utensils or plates or kitchen items in the kitchen, no paper towels to dry your hands, the toilet paper had a disgusting scent to it, the wooden doors looked like there were termites eating the door, the bed sheets were paper thing along with the four towels they gave us (keep in mind they knew 6 people were staying here and only provided us with 4 towels). ||||When we checked out, they charged us $27 for some shower towels that allegedly had makeup on them (which could have been washed and removed). To which they stated that was mentioned in the contract about stained towels because they used “special liquids” to clean these 0.99 cent see through towels. Because of how horrible the hotel was, we decided to spend our day an hour away in Valle de Guadalupe so we could spend the least amount of time in that germ/bacteria/moldy place. Obviously if you have reached this point of my review, I would highly suggest to NEVER EVER STAY HERE. ‼️

This was one of the worst places I have ever had the displeasure of staying at. The pictures are either very old or highly edited.|We booked the “Sunio Beach House” which is advertised as accommodating 6 people, but there is only 2 rooms and a couch that does not pull out into a bed. The room smelled of mold as soon as you walked in. The place was literally falling apart. Rotting wood, broken tiles, a rusted refrigerator. The bathrooms were poorly lit and I was scared to even brush my teeth with the tap water because of the foul sewage smell. The shower knobs were crusted with mildew. There was only AC in the rooms. The tv was locked so we could not watch anything. We asked for extra blankets and were told we could only have 1 per room, even though we had one person sleeping in the living room. OH and the small dirty pool is literally in the parking lot. I wish I would have taken pictures of how absolutely awful this place truly was. |To top off the terrible experience, we were charged an extra 27 dollars at check out because there was allegedly makeup stains on a bath towel. Bath towels that were extremely old and practically see through. Never in my life have I ever had to pay extra for a dirty towel. This must be how they are still in business, by scamming guests for ridiculous charges.|I advise everyone to stay away from this hotel. Please find something better, there are plenty nicer places along the beach. We were charged almost $800 for 2 nights but it truly was not even worth a fourth of that. We hated it so much we ended up leaving well before we were meant to check out. We could not wait to leave that place. I will NEVER return, not even if offered a free week stay. STAY AWAY!!
