Cepina, a small town in the heart of the Rhetic Alps: Gorgeous landscape, welcoming staff, spotless room, good food, and a quiet sauna to relax. Outside, enjoyable walks, and Bormio just next door. I had an absolutely delightful stay at Hotel Cepina.

Been there in July 2023, for a weekend, with my family. Lovely hotel, not far from Bormio: 5 minutes by car, 15/20 minutes by bicycle, with the dedicated bicycle lane. The hotel is quite old and should be renewed, but the atmosphere is cozy and the personnel is helpful and kind. Perfect for families. Recommended.

The staff make this hotel. They are very friendly and nothing is too much for them. However the hotel really needs to be updated, the decor is old, the paint is cracking. Rooms can be noisy as doors aren't soundproof at all.

Food is hit and miss. Anything made fresh on site (pasta, bread, etc) is amazing but anything they buy in is very average (the broccoli was clearly frozen as it was still cold in some places).

We spent a week as a family in this cozy, family run hotel. Accessible by public transport (bus through country side from Triano - short 5 min walk through cute town) and only a few kilometers from Bormio ( buses available) - a great place if you want to enjoy the mountain and get away from the "commercial tourist streets" of endless hotels and shops. The town is quiet, beautiful little church, 2 small grocery stores perfect for purchasing Italian specialties for taking home. The hotel is comfortable, spacious, great gym facility. The food is delicious "family cooking" - with variety, generous portions, and excellent service. The owners are warm and friendly, always available to help. Great place for groups - ski clubs, hiking clubs, ski clubs, as well as families ( good place with young children as rooms are spacious). The service is impeccable and the rooms and facilities very clean. The owners can offer good advice on skiing, hiking, biking routes - a lovely place!

Fantastic hotel. Great English speaking staff. There are good size double rooms to very large family rooms. Excellent gym, sauna, and hot tubs. Good restaurant and bar. Very good free parking. Would recommend rooms in the back of the old part of the hotel as they have the best views. Would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in bormio. Perfect for summer and winter.

Lovely hotel run and managed by the most welcoming lady. We were recommended this hotel by a friend and they didn't get it wrong. Food was amazing with the menu changing daily. Not that we used it but the gym looked far better than the usual standard of hotel gym. Indoor sauna and then a sauna in the grounds with hot tub and plunge pool too. Great week spent there.

Back for the 3rd year running so hopefully that says it all and all being well we'll be back again next year!||Always a lovely welcoming reception from management and staff.||Food is excellent and menu changes daily. Our children tend to be good eaters but are always offered a slightly different version i.e. no chilli/smaller portions. ||Rooms are clean and comfortable. We have stayed in a family room previously but opted for connecting rooms to give us the extra bathroom. ||Great facilities i.e. Gym, 2 saunas, hot tub and plunge pool which are always ready to ease your aches and pains after skiing! ||||

The staff is really polite, the location is beautiful, also the rooms are wide.
The food is really good, also.
The only problem was the water became cold while I was having a shower, but that's probably due to the fact that a lot of people were having showers at the same time
