A lovely room to stay in Florence. The room was comfortable and beautifully maintained, and we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary bottle of wine for New Year’s — a very thoughtful gesture from the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety of options, and everything was spotlessly clean. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming throughout our stay.

The only downside was some noise coming from the air conditioning.

Esp Mohammed and Jaxob! Very attentive and helpful! And everyone in the reception ate amazingly nice and warm! Great location, near the catholic church and Dexter laundry area. This is our 2nd yr and cant wait for the 3rd one!

Aside from being extremely clean and in a prime location, the staff is truly willing to go above and beyond. I was extremely sick one night to the point of needing a doctor. The hotel staff called a doctor who arrived within 30 minutes. For each day of our stay, the staff asked how I was feeling.

The kindness and compassion shown by the hotel staff cannot be overstated. Highly recommend.

Very centrally located hotel, few minutes walk from railway station and very close to all the attractions and good restaurants. Reception staff were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was enjoyable - juice, cereal, cheeses, meats, bread, pastries, coffee etc. Room was comfortable and clean. We did have an issue with the 'step' from the room to the bathroom.... a trip hazard for sure... so maybe that could be address. All in all, highly recommended.

Having stayed in Florence over 10 times in different hotels, Flom is my favorite of all. It’s newly renovated and the staff is incredibly friendly. Breakfast is wonderful and the beds are SO comfortable. Guests in our group mentioned that it feels like a 5-star hotel, which I agree with. I have zero complaints!

Flom Boutique Hotel was a very enjoyable stay for our family of 5 travelling from Canada.

Hotel rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and you need that when staying during the summer months.

The buffet breakfast was excellent - many options and everything made fresh. Great way to begin the day.

The staff were super friendly and very helpful - Andrew was very helpful with recommendations of places to eat and things to see.

We absolutely loved our three-night stay at Hotel Flom in Florence. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so warm and welcoming—they truly make you feel at home. Every request was handled quickly and with genuine care, and you can tell from their body language that you’re their #1 priority in that moment.

I had thumb pain and couldn’t use their safety-style hairdryer, and within a minute they brought me a regular one—problem solved. When we asked for local wine-window recommendations, they even hand-wrote a note with suggestions (such a personal touch!). Room service was always on point, with more than enough fresh towels stocked daily.

Breakfast was also a highlight—honestly one of the best we’ve had. I personally loved the marinated roasted bell peppers and the matcha croissants (paired with a cappuccino… or two). Such a memorable way to start the day.

The rooms and bathrooms were spacious, the shower was chef’s kiss—and here’s the detail that frequent travelers will appreciate: when you turn the water off, it actually stops. Not a single drop hanging on the showerhead. (If you know, you know.)

The location couldn’t be better—just a four-minute walk to the Central Market, with endless food options at great prices. Nearby you’ll also find fantastic Asian restaurants (Chinese, Korean, Indian), a €10 hair salon for a fresh fade, and even a nail salon.

If we come back to Florence, we’re 100% staying here again.

I stayed in two different hotels in Florence and this was the better one! Mainly because the location is very good to city center. Easy walk to the train station with luggage (as long as they roll on 4 wheels easily) and taxi drop off was not an issue. It’s about a 10-20 min walk to the highlights of the city. A bit longer to Piazza Michelangelo for sunset but that area is far from everywhere else (definitely go though-best views of the city). The room for one person was spacious and comfortable and even had a small patio facing the interior of the street. Very quiet and comfortable beds. Staff is very friendly and neighborhood felt safe. Clean hotel. Highly recommend il Vezzo for steak or just a meal nearby. Like the boutique feeling of the hotel and was great to relax comfortably after a long day. Good ac.
