My husband & I stayed here for 4 days after our cruise from Long Beach. Once at the hotel we were pleasantly surprised at how wonderful it was. The room was clean & modern. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The location was perfect for everything we planned to do. We easily caught the train into downtown Los Angeles with no problem. I don’t know when we are coming back to Long Beach, but I do know when ever we come we are for sure staying at Hotel Mai!

For the location of the hotel the price was so good. When my family and I walked into the room we immediately noticed how clean and fresh it was. Staff was very kind and helpful. The rooms were a lot bigger than expected and were very cozy. I also appreciate that the pool is open even during winter! I was able to take a good swim and enjoy the steam room. Everything in the hotel is so clean such as the roof and the pools. I will definitely be coming back!

Found this hotel short-notice; its location is ideal
It is walking distance to Pine Avenue where you find clubs, restaurants, entertainment, etc. there's a public parking lot located next to it for $10 a day, or you can drive two to three blocks north, And get 2 hours of free parking. The hotel itself was four stories high, Small but very nice and clean. The room was a nice size and very clean. I'm guessing it's a fairly new hotel. The price for the night was affordable, compared to others in the area, And again it was walking distance to Pine Avenue. I will definitely get a room at the Mai again

Comfortable and clean, updated rooms. Love the balcony on the fifth floor. Friendly and helpful staff. They give bottles of water daily. Felt safe. Highly recommend. We wished they had microwaves, but they did have a fridge.

I was impressed with this hotel! Room was beautiful, spacious, modern, clean. Amenities were great - Nice little gym with treadmills & weights; Pool/hot tub area; Steam room & sauna; Eucalyptus towels & complementary filtered or bottled water; Rooftop lounge.

Hotel Mai is absolutely stunning, love they have a balcony in the rooms, makes feel less claustrophobic in a sense, the room very spacious, extra clean & very nice. Staff is very friendly & accommodating. Highly recommend 10/10 🙂 thank you for the experience God bless!

Found this hotel on Google maps when we were planning our vacation. This hotel did not disappoint! The front desk personnel was friendly and helpful! They held our luggage while our room was being readied. We got to Long Beach at 1030 am and we were at the hotel by 1130am. Check in is normally at 4pm but they had our room ready before we got back from having lunch. The location of the hotel is great! Within walking distance of just about anything you could want to do. The room was very clean and in great condition.

I greatly enjoyed my stay at the hotel. It was clean and had a easy to use television, was located close to all the long beach downtown restaurants. The staff were efficient, kind and knowledgable. it was intimate and easy to maneuver around. Many hotels today are just too big taking 20 minutes to walk to the lobby. I will stay there everytime we visit Long Beach.
