What an amazing apartment & location! The owners (Fabio, his mother, father & grandmother) are very friendly & helpful. Fabio is available every morning in the onsite office & speaks very good English. We stayed in apartment Il Ginepro on the 1st floor, which has a breathtaking view of Volterra from the terrace (with charcoal BBQ & table & chairs). The living / diningroom is nicely decorated & has a fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with good quality dishes, pots, pans, appliances (dishwasher, fridge, ceramic stove, toaster, & coffee machine). There are 2 big bedrooms with lots of closet / storage space & 2 bathrooms (1 with a shower & 1 with a bathtub). You can use the washing machine for free (just bring your own laundry detergent). The gardens & big pool are beautiful & well kept & clean. The whole family works very hard to keep everything looking lovely. The Pizzeria Antico Borgo is just down the street & has good quality / priced food & wine (6.00 Euros/liter). One of the waitresses (Mary) speaks very good English. This was our first vacation in Tuscany, but it will definitely not be our last! We would highly recommend Il Casale Del Madonnino to everyone looking for a relaxing vacation. Places to see in the neighbourhood: Volterra (15 km), San Gimignano (20 km), Pisa (60 km), Lucca (75 km), Sienna (65 km), Florence (60 km), & Montaione (12 km).

Beautiful garden, big swimmingpool, quiet environment, clean and nice appartments - big house divided in four with each private terrace with BBQ (weekly changed bedlinnen, few times per week new bathroom and kitchentowels), perfect BBQ and very nice people. Owner has a fine Italian restaurant in near villlage. Close to the appartment there are two good restaurants and a minimarket. This year it was our third visit and we will go there again!! On the terrace lovely vues on the countryside.

Iano bei Montaione ist ein kleines, gemütliches Dörfchen inmitten der wundervollen Toskana mit phantastischer Aussicht, einem kleinen Einkaufsmarkt sowie sehr guten Restaurants als auch Bars und (wichtig) fußläufig zu erreichen. In der näheren Umgebung gibt es sehr viele schöne Städte mit unglaublich schöner Architektur, Kultur, Sehenswürdigkeiten und freundlichen Menschen. Jedes Jahr (Frühjahr oder Spätsommer) zieht uns die Umgebung immer wieder in den Bann. Für Erholungssuchende gibt es keinen entspannteren Ort als das Domizil "Il Casale del Madonnino" 🙂 Wir fuhren schon sowohl allein (als Paar) oder auch mit der ganzen Familie (Kindern und Enkeln) dahin. Die Aussicht, die Umgebung, die Sauberkeit der einzelnen Appartements als auch des gesamten Geländes (Garten, Pool), die familiäre Freundlichkeit und Hilfsbereitschaft des Vermieters und seiner ganzen Familie, um nur einiges zu nennen, zieht uns magisch immer wieder dahin. Seit einigen Jahren verbringen wir unseren Urlaub dort auch weil unsere kleine freche Paula (unser Hündchen) immer willkommen ist und jedes Jahr wieder fällt es uns schwerer die Heimreise anzutreten, weil wir hier unsere zweite Heimat gefunden haben. Wir freuen uns schon auf unseren nächsten Urlaub und auf das Wiedersehen mit liebgewonnenen Menschen.

Dit appartement is zeer goed! Ik vind dit het mooiste van Italië (van huizen)! Ik kan alleen oordelen over Il Cipresso, maar die is echt prachtig! Het uitzicht vanaf het balkon op het zwembad en op het Toscaanse binnenland, met oa de bergen. De eigenaren Fabio, en zijn vrouw en ouders zijn ook super aardig! Het is ook heerlijk om bij het zwembad te liggen! Je zit ook op korte afstand van vele mooie plaatsen, zoals Volterra, Siena en Lucca. Maar ook in het dorpje heb je goede restaurants. Ik zou zeker naar het restaurant van de eigenaar in Cappanoli gaan!

A great villa , very clean and well accessorized for cooking and sleeping.
Be noted that the place is charging extra for heating and air conditioning .We discovered that after we stayed without any notice.
And There is no soap and toilet paper so bring with you.
It's a great place to stay if you consider this things

I highly recommend staying here. The owners are extremely friendly and accommodating and the accommodations are superior! Very clean, and kept in excellent condition. Everything needed for long term stay. We were there 6 weeks and felt very safe, and comfortable. The town of Iano is absolutely picturesque, and its close to San Gimignano, Volterra, and many wonderful restaurants. Absolutely wonderful!
