This resort goes above and beyond to ensure your experience is a luxury relaxing one! The towel service and food service at the beach and pool were nice! The little touches of raking the sand on the private beach, providing sunscreen and having sand toys available for kids were appreciated! We enjoyed being in close proximity to restaurants and shops! We enjoyed the restaurants on site and pool side drinks! The spa is very relaxing and had all the amenities you’d hope for in a relaxing day! My only recommendation is to not put guests in rooms below the rooftop restaurant. We woke up the first night to chairs being moved across the floor at 3am probably due to cleaning. However, this didn’t ruin our stay as this probably only affects 1-2 rooms in the whole hotel. I am definitely exploring other JW Marriott vacations.

This was genuinely one of my favorite Marriott hotels ever (and I'm a rewards member), not even counting the amazing location near the beach. I'm just gushing- it was everything I want and expect from a hotel. The hotel staff was excellent, friendly, helpful. The layout was terrific- a great cafe for coffee and sandwiches, and proper locations and menus for dinner. Food was quite good. The room was clean, well sized, with proper amenities- coffee, vanity kits, water, etc. I was there for a catered work event and the lunches, buffets, snack carts, etc. were excellent and were quite a treat. Finally, the private beach was amazing as expected- great service, location, setups with chairs and umbrellas. I couldn't have been happier with the hotel and I hope to bring my family someday, specifically back to this hotel. Thank you for everything!

Felt unwelcome when we arrived since we booked through a third party. Three bedroom condo without a stove or oven is kind of inconvenient. “Resort fee” for rental bikes we couldn’t use due to damage from Helene and clean up work being done-which is obviously understandable but then maybe waive the resort fee or at least a portion. Tried to get a receipt of what was actually on my bill through the hotel but just got a reply of “you purchased through a third party vendor”. Which I actually stated in my subject line-just wanted a breakdown of what I was billed for at the property. Large “water” stain on the bed when we stripped our bedding before leaving. Did have lovely staff at the pool the one day we used it and another very helpful lady in the lobby with curly hair. The property is beautiful and the beach

Excellent property. Feel, smell, service all top-notch. It was so clean and each member of the staff wanted to even further enhance our visit. Was contacted by the concierge 2 days prior about addressing any requests! Exclusive feel as well.
Negatives: we were on the second floor, outside our suite was a cop backed up against the fence for hours at night. Restaurants were perhaps too unique. Flavors were a bit beyond conventional. The smaller rooftop pool was the busiest area and jam-packed even on Sunday afternoon. Even though we had elite status and late check-out, we were locked out of our room at noon. Remember to let them know you want a late checkout.
Don't miss: rooftop restaurant/bar on the 11th floor with fantastic views and even better service!

Prime Time

As an Ambassador Elite member, I've had the privilege of staying at several JW properties, but this one truly stands out as one of the best. From the moment I arrived, the team—Lin, Gisela, Yuka, Sarah, and Javier—made me feel like I was in great hands. Their service is not just top-tier; it's thoughtful and personal, which I believe makes all the difference.

I've stayed at many beautiful hotels before, but when the service is lacking, it can completely ruin the experience. This JW, however, is the exact opposite. Everything, from the stunning views to the pristine pool, exceptional restaurants, and well-maintained rooms, is impeccable. The cleanliness throughout the property is top-notch, and I especially want to mention the housekeeping team. My bed was made each night with such care, and it smelled fresh with a hint of lavender. Whatever they used, it added such a special touch to the stay.

I honestly can't recommend this hotel enough. It’s a perfect blend of luxury, comfort, and outstanding service, and I’ll definitely be returning. 10/10, hands down!

One of the BEST Marriott’s we have stayed at!! To start, the hotel is new and beautifully decorated. The rooms are great. The beach area we loved because it’s private and tucked back from the rough waves. It’s the staff that make this place so special. Every employee must have been trained by Marriott’s elite because they all bend over backwards to accommodate their guests. Suzanne at the front desk was the best! The restaurant staff went above and beyond. Oh, and the food was exceptional. The valet guys were so professional. The maids did extra cleaning. Great vibes all around at this hotel. Couldn’t recommend it more.

I had an exceptional stay this past weekend at the JW Marriott Clearwater with my family! The hotel staff were incredibly courteous and attentive, ensuring that every need was met with a smile. The private beach was a true paradise, it was clean, serene, and perfect for relaxation with my family. The rooftop pool was another highlight, offering stunning views and a luxurious atmosphere. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort, service, and location.

Wow. We loved this hotel. Service was top-notch from the valet to the housekeepers. Really enjoy the balcony over looking the beach and inlet. My only complaint for me would be only way you can get ice if you call 0. Then they brought it up to your room, and it was brought with a bag in the ice bucket until I requested it as such. The pool was amazing, and service as well. All the food and drinks we ordered were delicious but pricey, which was expected. We enjoyed breakfast off the beachside at Latitude 28 as well. I'm not sure why they ask if you're celebrating anything if they don't offer anything for your event, even with being members. We still look forward to our next staycation!
