L'hotel è situato in una zona incantevole che garantisce un relax totale. ||La sala in cui si svolgeva l'evento era decorata in modo curato e attento, nulla era lasciato al caso. ||Le specialità che hanno servito erano molto raffinate e gustose, ogni richiesta veniva soddisfatta immediatamente e quello che mi sorpreso di più sono state le attenzioni offerte dal catering.

Il posto è incantevole e piacevole ma ci sono molti ma. In primis è davvero troppo lontano dalla città e soprattutto non è per nulla collegato con gli autobus! Poi nella mia camera il collegamento wifi non era possibile e nonostante ho segnalato il problema non è stato possibile risolverlo! Adatto se si vuole staccare la spina e rilassare ma non se si vuole visitare Belfast!

The reception staff were lovely and very friendly, but that is the end of the positives.||The hotel is tired and in need of refurbishment. The pool is a good size, but is used for external swimming lessons etc. as well as by hotel guests, so can get busy. The changing facilities need a revamp - a couple of showers were broken/not working properly.||The food is what I might have expected at a cheap cafe, not a 4* hotel. The breakfast was £18 per person; I've had better at a Travelodge. While we were there, there were 2 coach trips staying at the hotel, so there weren't enough seats for everyone to eat and people were being turned away and asked to come back later.||There were some issues with the hot water while we were there which meant that we were not able to have a hot shower/bath throughout the stay. I reported this to reception both in the evening when I first discovered it, and the following morning when the water was still cold. ||I complained at check out and was told that I had already pre-paid (as was required at check-in) so they couldn't do anything about a refund, but that someone would be in touch. After much chasing on my part, I finally got a response from the hotel and the matter has been resolved, although not entirely to my satisfaction.||In summary, my experience of this hotel was well below that of any other 4* hotel in which I have stayed. I would certainly not stay here again.

Let's start with the positives. The staff were very helpful, friendly and polite. The hotel was generally clean. The breakfast was good too. The room was adequate if in need of some modernisation. One light over the bed with switches on one side just doesn't work. There were dirty marks on the carpets and, in our room, lumps in the carpet, not good in an accessible room. We went for a quiet weekend but there was a wedding on our second night. Doors were still banging, and people were talking outside our room at 4.30am. So if you're looking for a quiet stay, check if there's a wedding before you book. I would have loved to access the county club, but the lift was out of order for our full stay, and I can't do stairs.

We booked a quick bite for 60 here after a funeral as we had a meal booked later in the evening. |The sandwiches were absolutely disgraceful. Tasteless and soggy. The tea and coffee was tepid, when we eventually got it, We had to ask for top ups. There didn’t seem to be enough staff. |When I went to pay the bill I mentioned to the receptionist that the food was awful. I was met with such unprofessional defensiveness, I was shocked!! Instead of an apology the receptionist was going to argue with me about who was brought into the room first! What that had to do with food I had no idea. |I have sent an email but have had no reply. After our experience on the day I didn’t expect one. The bill was £857 |We were really embarrassed as some of our guests had travelled for the funeral and just wanted something tasty until the meal later. |really couldn’t recommend this hotel, it was a really difficult time for our family and I had hoped for better.

Had my mothers funeral reception here yesterday, I have to say that Natalie the event manager is absolutely brilliant at what she does, she made the whole experience so easy at such a difficult time, everything from the original meeting to them final moments, nothing was any trouble for her and her team.||Food was fantastic, the room was beautifully decorated and dressed, the staff are so well trained here, their service and the way they present themselves is amazing to watch, they have one objective and that is to do their job professionally and honourably, they don’t blink or laugh at joke someone is making, I really cannot complement the staff highly enough, even Natalie herself was serving tea and coffee, just brilliant from start to finish.||I stay in 5 star hotels two to three times a year for the last four or more years and only one would be equal to La Mon House Hotel, it’s certainly worthy of a five star rating not just a official four star.||Tracy another manager at reception is also fantastic, very helpful and nothing I requested from her was a problem, her team at reception are all extremely well trained and professional throughout our stay at La Mon House, ||This then brings me to our room, just WOW it was gorgeous, great views, very clean in all honesty spotless, the bed was so comfortable we couldn’t get up for our breakfast this morning just wanted to lie there all day!||Unfortunately this means I cannot comment on the breakfast that I was really looking forward too, however I can only imagine it would have been just as amazing as everything else.||Certainly perfect of end of life celebrations or maybe a weeding, or maybe just a we break away from busy city life.||Highly recommend La Mon House Hotel
