Ottimo B&B,||situato a pochi minuti d'auto da Firenze in un località incantevole, le stanze sono molto curate, pulite e ben servite.||Ottima anche l'accoglienza al nostro arrivo. ||Consigliato per chi vuole dividere la sua vacanza tra natura e cultura.||Purtroppo essendoci stati in autunno non abbiamo potuto usufruire del giardino esterno e della piscina che però sono a disposizione durante il periodo estivo.

Siamo due coppie di amici che decidiamo di festeggiare il compleanno di mia moglie facendo una due giorni a Firenze....prenotiamo al Lombrichino b&b |Un posto veramente incantevole, a soli 10 minuti di macchina da Firenze immersi nella campagna toscana, lontano dai rumori della città.|L'appartamento si presenta molto bello ed accogliente, pulitissimo, e pieno di confort... la signora Lorella proprietaria ci accoglie in maniera molto amichevole dandoci dei consigli utilissimi per la visita della città .|Lo consiglio ad amici o famiglie che vogliono visitare Firenze e dintorni che non vogliono vivere il caos della città ....|A dimenticavo .... c'è una piscina stupenda con una vista incantevole .....|

Ottimoper rilassarsi, servizio ottimo, camere silenziose, la signora che ospita, la mattina ci portava una torta appena fatta per la colazione. Ci ha dato importantissime indicazioni sui luoghi da visitare ed i posti caratteristici per mangiare con ottimo rapporto prezzo/qualità. Da tornarci appena possibile

The villa is located among a few private houses in a gorgeous hamlet, with great walks (or runs) nearby. Lombrichino is well equipped and although the house is a little narrow, has plenty of space for six. Lorella is a wonderful host, who could not be more helpful. The pool is great, with fabulous views over the valley and the outdoor dining area was used nearly every night, great for large dinners. The house, pool and dining areas are a little separated, but this proved to be no major issue, but is a consideration. The local area is beautiful, with a few very good restaurants run by warm and welcoming management and staff. Also, make time for a visit (or two) to the Castello del Trebbio for great wine and amazing olive oil, as well as a really entertaining and interesting wine and olive tour. The restaurant is very good at the castle too - lovely to have dinner while sipping wine made from the vineyards just below the patio! The villa is also very close to Florence, 20/25 minutes by car or train and is generally good for driving across Tuscany.

It has taken me a while to write this review, but I would like to recommend Villa Lombrichino to other travellers.||||Lombricino is in an idyllic setting amidst the hills, very authentic, its location capturing the best of a rural Tuscan setting, but very convenient for the sites and culture of Florence. This is not an ersatz Villa-with-pool, it is authentic charming very comfortable and clean. The pool close, not next to the apartment, has fantastic views of the valley and is a very relaxing place to spend warm sunny afternoons. The climate in early June was just like a perfect English summer day, but unspoiled by English weather. Waking in the cool morning to the sound of the birds and the relaxed rural atmosphere was perfect.||||Lorella and family were very welcoming and helpful. The heady scent of the rosemary and jasmine is still with me.||||Thanks

My partner and I, my two 26-year old sons, and their partners spent a terrific five days at Villa Lombrichino. Lorella was a most welcoming and gracious hostess. The villa is even more beautiful than the photos indicate! The kids ran up and down the hills for their exercise (encountering deer on the way!) and spent hours at the lovely pool. We drove around quite a bit, exploring small villages and vineyards. Thanks to Lorella's recommendation, we had a fabulous meal at Castello Del Trebbiano one evening. We found local food in the Coop in Sieci and took full advantage of the grill in the picnic area three of our five evenings. The villa was spotlessly clean; beds comfortable, kitchen perfect for everything the three foodies in my family concocted; en suite bathrooms were luxurious with sufficient hot water for 6 adults. It was not at all damp or cramped, contrary to a prior reviewer. We did not want to leave... and hope we can go back.

We just returned from a week in Tuscany. Lombrichino is a fabulous place to stay. The accommodations were excellent. We made dinner at the villa most nights, and found the kitchen to be very functional, with many of the basics stocked in advance. The location is great; just a short drive to Florence, and easily accessible to all the sights in Tuscany. We hired a car, and found that to be the best option. ||||The first part of the week was cooler, so we spent the days sightseeing, without the blistering heat. Toward the end of the week, when the weather warmed, we spent time by the pool with its spectacular views. ||||Lorella is an absolute gem. She gave us many suggestions on things to do, booked reservations and helped us find ways to make the most of our time. She even provided suggestions on parking in Florence with reasonable rates. It’s obvious that she enjoys taking care of her guests.
