Overall, very happy with our stay. Yes, the room and shower are small but spotless. Walls are very thin (I could hear a woman next door making fun of my husband coughing...) but the neighborhood is peaceful and quiet at night. It's a strenuous walk to the ferry up a long cobblestone staircase. But we saved $600 on a two night stay vs. every other hotel in the area. The host let us check in and park early which was very kind.

Great hotel! We would stay here again.

We had a recently renovated room. The entire hotel also looked freshly painted. We loved our balcony and spent most of our time there, looking out onto trees and the water. The breakfast was perfect, just what we wanted with a few options and affordable. We were able to have breakfast on our balcony in the morning, and prosecco there in the evening. It was very relaxing. The owner helped with all of our needs. Some other reviews would describe the owner as prickly, but she was professional with us.

Absolutely stunning location! One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. Francesca was so kind and helpful — truly made our stay smooth and enjoyable.

We came with extended family and booked three apartments. Two were an easy 8-minute walk apart, but the third was over 30 minutes away on foot. The listing made it seem like all were close by, so just double-check apartment locations before booking. In the end, we didn’t need the third apartment since the other two had more space than expected.

We arrived by bus, and getting to the main check-in location with luggage was a bit of a workout — Bellagio is very hilly! Thankfully, Francesca drove me around to each apartment, which was a huge help.

Beds were comfortable, pillows were excellent, and the AC worked well. Despite a few location surprises, I’d absolutely stay here again. 5 stars!

We had a small house a few steps from the main hotel. Reception clerk was ok for us, if a little rough, but the general tone of online messages and signs is in line with reviews here. Out in the separated house we had little interaction with the rest of the hotel. The house is spacious, in ok shape and the essentials are there. You can see the lake from the terrace (2nd row though) and the decorations reflect Bellagio's long history as a tourist attraction. Parking can be difficult here (for the external house no parking provided). The hotel is in a part of Bellagio which is more quiet and detached from the lively city center. There is a romantic walking path to the center (10 mins max) with cobblestone stairs. We enjoyed all of this very much, be sure you do too before booking. Then this place is a good deal.

My friend and I booked this hotel 2 weeks before our stay. We called hours before arriving, letting them know we were coming a bit after 8 pm, as the ferry times indictated (their check-in policy is 8 pm). The receptionist could not have been ruder; she dismissed everything we said and hung up on us. We were unable to stay here because we arrived SHORTLY after 8 pm. Now our trip to Lake Como is cancelled. I am EXTREMELY disappointed and hurt because this place looked amazing, but the staff isn't accommodating to our needs. The staff needs to figure it out!!!!

We got a room with a beautiful view really like it! It’s not expensive for Bellagio. has parking, and even has air conditioning, which is amazing for summer in Italy.

Stayed here our 2nd and 3rd nights in Italy. It's a quaint little place with the emphasis on little. The room is tiny. The bathroom is extremely tiny, only 1 person at a time can get in there and the shower must've been made for a very skinny dwarf. And whilst it is in a good location to get to if you don't have a car then don't bother. It's not that far from Bellagio Ferry Wharf but it's a difficult walk, even when taking the "shortcut" going up and down cobble stone steps and walkways. It is impossible to carry luggage on the walk. Then sadly when we got there, we found the landlady to be the grumpiest and most unhelpful host of a B&B during our entire 3.5 weeks in Italy. And whilst mentioning breakfast, you have to pay for it. It is NOT included in the price. Nor is air conditioning. She charges 10€ a day for the a/c. This was THE only place we stayed at in the entire country that charged for breakfast and charged for air conditioning. We asked a couple of times for assistance with the luggage back down to the ferry Wharf for when we were leaving and all she was prepared to offer was directions to the bus stop to go to Como. In the end I convinced the cleaning lady to drive us and our luggage down, a mere 6 minute drive, but had to slip her 20€ for the help too! My advice, DO NOT stay here.

A beautiful Spot outside of Bellagio with nice Spots in walking distance! The room was clean and spacious with a view in the little garden. The breakfast was also good! Unfortunately the lady at the reception who seems to be in charge for everything was not friendly or welcoming at all, which was very upsetting. Why would you run a Hotel when you apparently don’t like tourists?
