They have very kind and friendly staff. Spa and wellness is good. Breakfast can be better, not only Italian (sweet) and American (eggs and bacon)...

I visited Monun for a spa day and also dined at the restaurant for dinner a separate time. I live in the area so have had a lot of experiences in local spas and restaurants and I have to say Monun is one of the best! The restaurant serves innovative and tasty dishes with their roots in the local cuisine but with a fun twist. We tried many different dishes and there were two that were just so so, but the rest were fantastic! I also visited ths spa for the percorso and a massage both of which were wonderful. The spa area itself is cosy and perfect to get away. Both in the spa and restaurant the service was top notch, the staff are always friendly and available. The hotel is in an old monestary and beautifully renovated. Drinks on the terrace before dinner are a must to enjoy the view over the old town! I will definitely be back.

Ok. First night of seven and it’s off to a great start. The staff are super friendly and helpful and the accommodations are above expectations. The location is perfect to the city center and all of the great ceramic shops. Looking forward to this week. They communicate via WhatsApp which is great for directions and recommendations.
Update: It’s the end of the week and check-out time is in a few hours. The stay has been good with the exception of one staff member who put in an address to my phone for a location that ended us up in an unsafe area. The same staff member failed to read my WhatsApp text asking for an early pickup which ended up with an extra 15 minute wait. Also, the staff are extremely loud right outside my door at 6:30a waking me up early. Other than that, great stay, great location near pretty much everything in the town, and a great breakfast. If you get the opportunity, try the massage. It’s wonderful! I’ll definitely stay here again.

Beautifully restored building with high-tec digital features in the hotel rooms (esp. lighting). Unfortunately. I couldn't get the TV to work - I pressed literally every single button on the remote control, same with the heating;
but then again I never called the front desk, so it's not really their fault. But the unit seemed only to provide cooling. When I was there, the spa was not available neither was the roof deck, but the staff are kind & attentive and the details to design are beautiful.

Nice hotel. I stayed in the original building. So I did not know about the other building until the last day which had the jacuzzi on the roof. They provided great recommendations for restaurants and places to visit. Very nice staff, I highly recommend this location for a visit for either work or holiday.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Stayed in the spacious Royal Suite. The space was quiet and well appointed. Included a nice sitting veranda outside our room where we enjoyed the early Spring sunshine. Great place to stay when visiting the nearby ceramics shops. The location is off a narrow street and parking is limited, but the hotel was very accommodating in saving a parking space if you arrive early. They even helped us with our baggage to the room. Be sure and grab a glass of wine or some espresso during the day in their lounge area. The best hotel to stay at while in Grottaglie. Definitely recommend it.

My sincerest appreciation to the Monun staff for making my 2 week stay a wonderful experience in Grottaglie. Highly recommend if you are planning to stay. Finding parking can be tricky but staff will hold a spot in front of the reception for you. The location is nice and there are many shops and pizzerias within walking distance. Breakfast is individually prepared and served with fresh fruits every morning. Only 3 options but still very tasty 👍🏽. My room had a nice view of evening sunsets

Overall the stay is comfortable, clean, and satisfactory..albeit slightly pretentious. There are many cafes, bars, and restaurants within walking distance. There are some things I wish I knew before staying here. Parking is a challenge; there are a few on street parking options that the hotel controls, but if those are full, you don’t have many other options. I actually parked in the lot down in the Ceramic Qtr. (5 min walk up a hill…not good with luggage and terrible if it rains). Breakfast is good, but limited. You choose one of three options the night before and it is served. It is not buffet style.
