La villa di Sara e Mark è un piccolo paradiso: ristrutturata recentemente con grandissima attenzione e gusto, ha al suo interno tutto il necessario per soggiorni anche lunghi. La cucina è super attrezzata, anche il miglior cuoco troverà difficilmente un accessorio mancante (c'è perfino il termometro per controllare la temperatura interna della carne!). La casa accoglie comodamente molte persone: eravamo 2 famiglie (4 adulti e 3 bambini) e gli spazi avrebbero accolto tranquillamente anche famiglie più numerose di noi. La piscina gode di una vista spettacolare e il patio che padroneggia dall'alto permette di tenere sempre sott'occhio i bambini. Sara e Mark vivono nella casa a fianco ma la loro presenza non si nota per niente: abbiamo comunicato solo via messaggio e non hanno per niente invaso la nostra privacy. Grazie Sara e grazie Mark alla prossima!

We stayed at no.18 in late September. It was a fantastic experience, both Sara and Mark were extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. The house was amazing and is exactly what you need for a relaxing break. Lots of thought and hard work has gone into making no. 18 a great place to stay.
We even managed to get the last of the summer sun by the pool.
Anyone who visits no. 18 will not be disappointed.
One of our days was spent in nearby Turin…which is packed with history and great places to eat and drink.
We’ll definitely be back…

This house is simply amazing!
The design is beautiful, it’s sparkling clean, it’s so well kept that it seems to be finished yesterday specially for you, it’s very well thought and organized, the kitchen has everything you need and even more, the owners are always in touch even thought we contacted only to say hi and goodbye. The house is in the countryside, it has beautiful fields view, the air is fresh, silence… but at the same time you have a perfect road going right to your doorstep! And around there are a lot of tiny towns to see, almost each of them has a castle. Plus there are several restaurants with very good cuisine and wine lists! Wonderful place! We hope to be back again!

Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus ist unglaulich schön und sehr gepflegt. Sara und Mark waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir haben uns gleich wie zu Hause gefühlt.

This was our 2nd time here in 2 years and definitely won’t be our last! We loved every moment of staying at this beautiful property set in gorgeous grounds. It is rural, but only 15 mins away in the car to a big supermarket and small shopping centre, (Esselungo- on the way to Asti) with a few smaller food shops closer and Moncalvo 10mins away for a small city with shops and a few restaurants. Asti is only 25 mins away. There are some fabulous restaurants locally, and great little bars for an aperitivo (drink such as wine, Aperol Spritz with snacks).
3 lovely bedrooms, the master is stunning and overlooks the grounds. Shower rooms are all en-suite with an extra downstairs.
Large open plan kitchen, lounge and dining room. The kitchen is the best -equipped we have come across in a holiday home.
Immediately off the living area is the dining terrace, ( also perfect for my morning workout with a view!) and a few steps away, a seating area built in under a pergola. A garden full of wild flowers, and this year the poppies were amazing. Stepping down to the next level is a ‘lounging’ terrace. A new corner sofa and table has been added since our last visit, and this is an absolute bonus. There are also 2 hanging egg chairs. It is the perfect place for morning coffee and afternoon/evening cocktails. The inviting pool with loungers is the final level, and the views across the fields are stunning, with the mountain range to see on a clear day.
Sara and Mark are wonderful hosts, the welcome pack they left contain wine and Prosecco, crisps, breadsticks, delicious biscuits, milk, coffee, fruit, olive oil, and a number of other essential items as part of a starter pack. Very thoughtful and a lovely touch. Plus flowers from the garden!
The house/guidebook app they use is excellent, not just for the house but for local recommendations. There is nothing more to say, other than, you must book this place!

This was one of the best stays at an Airbnb we’ve ever had, and we’ve stayed at a lot of Airbnbs and hotels! Sara and Mark are the most thoughtful hosts that we have encountered. They thought about everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible, from the furniture, supplies to arranging the chef at home. The house is absolutely stunning - it’s for everything you need and we felt right at home. The view is breathtaking from morning to the evening, and the photos don’t do it’s justice! We also had the absolute privacy - Sara and Mark were always there when we needed them but otherwise they just left the house to ourselves. We love the house so much that I’m almost reluctant to write a good review in case it becomes too popular! We would love to come back and stay at no.18 again and we already miss it!

Mark and Sara are the best hosts we have ever experienced and No.18 is one of the most beautiful homes we have stayed in. The attention to detail is wonderful. We have never had hosts leave such incredibly thoughtful and generous welcome gifts or offer such invaluable advice and assistance on where to go for days out or meals. We all loved chilling out by the pool and had some great days and meals out. We took a drive down to The Italian Riviera, used the train from Asti to visit Turin and enjoyed a stunning afternoon at Cascina Gilli Vineyards. We had a lovely grown up meal at Castello Di Razzano across the valley from No. 18 and also enjoyed a family meal in Asti at Vicolo Battisti where the food was fantastic. Both recommended by Mark & Sara. Thank you both for a brilliant week. We will definitely return in the future. Love the idea of skiiing from No.18 that we discussed too!
