Last October, I spent a week in Villa Piaggia with my family. It was an amazing experience! We all made special memories that we'll treasure for years to come! The villa is absolutely gorgeous and perfect for large families or friends. It is completely private and very quaint. The pool is fantastic. We were lucky, the weather held for most of the week and we were able to enjoy some afternoons in total relaxation with many a drink. The interior of the house is authentic and functional. I must say the pictures on the website don't do it justice! We felt pampered by the staff and are hoping to go back in the future.

As a big family with 18 members in three generations from 7-81 years, we have spent a week at Villa Piaggia in early summer of the recent four years.
The large and stately property is picturesquely situated on a sunny hill and offers a wide view of the hilly landscape of Tuscany.
The location is very quiet and secluded at the end of a dead-end-street, there is no through traffic and disturbances from other tourists. The property is very well protected by a complete fence, so children can´t get „lost“.
The bedrooms in the main house are generously proportioned, beautifully furnished with old furniture and each have their own well-kept bathroom and toilet.
The living and recreation rooms are very spacious and equipped with tasteful furniture. A very large dining table is available, as well as a TV- and a billiard room.
The kitchen is very functional and completely equipped, exceptional are the large gas stove and several new large refrigerators. The excellent wines of the DIANIELLA-winery are available at fair prices.
The garden is large and very well maintained and has a large loggia with barbecue. Great is the large pool with swimmer and non-swimmer area, which is cleaned regularly.
Housekeeping maintains the house on a daily basis with a high level of service orientation and is always approachable.
Particularly to mention is the attentive and dedicated care of the guests on site, the team is always supportive and provides additional services (transfers to and from Florence, restaurant bookings, dinners with a chef-cook, etc.) if required. The booking and the administrative processing are easy, the management acts very professional.
In a nutshell: A uniquely place surrounded by beautiful nature, highly recommended for holidays of families, groups or large family celebrations. We always enjoyed our stays very much, cooked and grilled extensively and got together for hours in the evening under the night sky. We have always felt very comfortable and will definitely return.

Nice place and we had a nice time until the last day that we got stolen by the cleaning service of the Villa. They stole our cel phone and camera with all our trip pics and the owners of the Villa didn’t take any responsability or did anything to help us. After a nice vacation we had a really last unpleasant day !

The staff turned out to be thief’s and stole various objects of ours. Truly a terrible and traumatizing experience .
